AN UNBIASED VIEW OF EPOXY FOR HEAVY-DUTY PROJECTS

I want to decoupage a coffee desk with previous nautical maps..What glue do I use to use maps to tabletop and what glue/sealer do I use for the highest coats which will be WATER proof and warmth resisdent...ie a cup of warm coffee spot on area?Any decayed wood will get in just how and make it challenging to carry out wood repairs that are vital.
